Privacy Policy
Your health data is strictly yours. Last updated: October 2026
Flowerr Health Tech ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Flowerr application and website (https://flowerr.app).
Explicit Acknowledgment of Health Data Sensitivity: We explicitly acknowledge that the menstrual cycle, fertility, and pregnancy data you log in Flowerr constitutes highly sensitive personal health information. We treat it with the highest degree of care and strict security measures.
Data Controller Information
Flowerr Health Tech is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact our Data Protection Officer at info[at]flowerr.app.
What Data We Collect
- Cycle and Health Data: Dates of your periods, cycle length, symptoms, mood, BBT, pregnancy milestones, and other physiological logs you explicitly enter.
- Account Information: If you choose to create an account for cloud backup, we collect your email address, first name, and optionally your date of birth.
- Technical Logs: Basic application logs necessary for maintaining the service and diagnosing errors.
How Your Data is Used
We use your data ONLY to provide and improve the Flowerr service. This includes calculating cycle estimates, displaying your logs, and syncing your data across devices (if you enable cloud backup).
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or targeted marketing.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud). All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS and encrypted at rest on Firebase Firestore servers. Authentication is securely handled via Firebase Auth. For users who do not sign in, all cycle data remains locally stored on your device and never touches our servers.
Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your location, including under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of Access & Portability: You can export your data at any time directly within the Flowerr app via the "Export JSON backup" button.
- Right to Rectification: You can edit any logged data directly in the app.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete specific logs, clear your device data, or permanently delete your cloud account and all associated data directly from the Settings menu.
- Do Not Sell My Personal Information (CCPA): We do not sell your personal data. We have never sold it, and we never will. Therefore, there is no need to opt-out, as you are already opted out by default.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is immediately and permanently deleted from our active Firestore databases.
Third Parties
We share data exclusively with essential service providers necessary to operate the application, specifically Firebase (Google Cloud) for hosting, authentication, and database services. We use Maileroo strictly for sending transactional notifications you opt into. We integrate absolutely no advertising SDKs, and we share no data with data brokers.
Cookies and Tracking
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Flowerr uses local storage solely to save your local application state and session information.
